What's the difference between an Appointment Type, Event and Activity?

  1. An appointment is structured information created by your service, including details like the name, duration, cost, and modality. This structured information can be automatically imported into an invoice, making it super convenient.
  2. On the other hand, an 'event' is a free-form appointment where you have more flexibility in creating the title and deciding when it will happen, these are really useful for blocking out your calendar for personal appointments so that it 'blocks' your calendar.
  3. Activity appointment types are linked to a client but not shared with a client, this could be useful for activities such as writing a report for the client. More information on activities can be found here - Activity appointment types are only available from the in-line calendar
