Connecting Sage Business Cloud Accounting

Superuser > Control Panel > System Connections > Sage Business Cloud Accounting


Select the 'Country' and then 'Authorize'. The Business ID can be added once it's authorised.

Allow permissions to Tacklit, to set up the secure integration.

Confirm the Business ID and save. This is the final step before returning to Tacklit.

Once you are re-directed back to the application, select the connection at the top of the screen to finalise the mapping


Select 'Edit Data Mapping'



Start mapping the variables from Tacklit into the relevant categories in Sage.

  • Account Mapping
    • Map accounts to each practitioner or use a default account for all practitioners.
  • Invoice Item Mapping
    • Map invoice items to respective appointment types.
  • Invoice Fields
    • Include issue and due dates.
    • Line item descriptions and amounts.
    • Discounts (if applicable).
    • Reference field (to store the Tacklit invoice number).
  • Practice Account mapping is required for Sage, this will be the default sales account.


Note:

  • Practice Account mapping is required for Sage, this will be the default sales account.
  • If you're running on nominal code model (having different sales account for each practitioner for tracking or reporting purpose), then check the checkbox for the practitioner and select their account
  • Example below:

    This setup means appointment invoice for Isabelle will be push to Sage with “Sales-Product” account.

    While everyone else will be pushed with “Sales-Services”.
