Multi Column Calendar View

This guide will walk you through the steps to effectively use the new features in our calendar, designed to help busy teams and administrators coordinate across multiple calendars more efficiently. You will learn how to access the multi-column view, select and explore various calendars, book appointments, and customise your calendar views for better visibility and management.

Read the guide below or watch this short video.

Step 1

We've made significant updates to enhance our calendar user experience, making it easier for teams and administrators to coordinate across multiple calendars. The existing blended column view in Tacklit allows you to see all appointments in a given time slot on a specific day in one view. However, spotting white spaces and locating gaps can be challenging, especially for large teams. Therefore, we are excited to introduce the multi-column view, which enables you to see the details more clearly.

Step 2

The multi-column view allows you to see all relevant information for a given week in a singular, organised view without everything being squashed together. We have removed and enhanced the limits on how you can lay out these calendars to improve your experience.

Step 3

You can now select all the calendars you wish to see in a single view and easily scroll across to explore specific calendars further. Clicking into a particular calendar slot will enable you to trigger the appointment booking for a particular client in the selected time slot seamlessly.

Step 4

Once you select a calendar slot, you can book an appointment for a specific client effortlessly, ensuring a smooth scheduling experience.

Step 5

We continue to support the timeline view. If you prefer seeing all appointments listed down, this option remains available.

Step 6

The timeline view now includes the working schedule, enhancing your ability to view all necessary information in one place. This update is also available in the multi-column view.

Step 7

With the latest updates to our settings menu, you can now see the working schedule in both the timeline and multi-column views.

Step 8

Additionally, you can change the color of the working schedule for greater contrast, making it easier to find white spaces and specific time slots. We hope you find this feature useful for navigating our calendar system. Thank you!
