What code do I enter when logging in to Tacklit?

When you are asked for a code, it means your service has turned on Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). They have added an additional security measure for you to log in to your account.

Follow the below steps to log in successfully.

Step 1 - Signing into Tacklit

  • Go to uk.tacklit.com
  • Enter your email address and password
  • You can only log in if you have previously created an account.

Step 2 - Logging in for the first time

  • When you log in for the first time you will be asked to set up your Authentication App (Google Authenticator or similar)
  1. Get an Authentication App
  2. Scan the code in the Authenticator App
  3. Enter the code from the Authenticator App into the Tacklit Log In flow
  • You will need to use this app each time you log in so don’t delete it; a new code will be generated every 30 seconds or so to keep your account secure.

Step 3 - Logging in thereafter

  • Sign in as per step 1
  • Enter Authentication Code
  1. Open Authentication App
  2. Choose the code linked with this account
  3. Enter the code into the Authentication ‘6 digit code’ box
    1. When you press enter on the Authentication page (pictured below), the code must still be active in the Authentication App (meaning the Authentication App can’t have cycled through to the next code or it won’t be valid).
  4. If you check the box ‘remember this browser’ it will remember you for 30 days. After that it will ask you to re-enter your Authentication code.
